Teenager Dies In Bullriding Competition
A 16-year-old Arkansas boy was killed in a youth bullriding competition during the weekend in Muskogee. Authorities say Peyton Jackson of Alma, Arkansas, was pronounced dead at Muskogee Regional Medical Center after the accident at the Muskogee Fairgrounds. Witnesses say Jackson completed his 8-second ride when the bull continued bucking and came down with its back feet on the boy's back and side. Jackson got up and took three or four steps before collapsing. .
Obama will move the country forward
All of the Democratic candidates are rated as "abysmal", but unfortunately the Republicans are not mush better. I am still voting for "None of the Above", and as usual it will probably come down to voting for the candidate that is the least worst. JP wrote on Jan 5, 2008 10:01 PM:Don't you love it when someone tells you what their candidate of choice "will" do if elected, as if it was some kind of guarantee? Before Obama came into the presidential picture, I doubt if most people, including Ms. Welsh, had any clue Barack Obama existed, and now he's touted as the heir apparent savior of the country. Obama is a smart and charismatic guy, and the fact that he does break the mold of the typical candidate makes you think that this may be just the kind of change the country could use right now, which is Ms.
Relax at Your Next Dental Visit with Sedation Dentistry
Seeing your dentist regularly is one of the best ways to preserve the health of your teeth and to prevent future, more extensive dental procedures. The thought of going to the dentist creates a great deal of anxiety in some patients, and some people are so fearful of going to a dentist that they simply never go, which only causes their dental problems to worsen. Now there is a new form of cosmetic dentistry that has made going to the dentist a bearable, if not pleasant experience, for the millions of people who have avoided the dentist for years and years. Sedation dentistry just may be the answer you've been looking for to alleviate the fear and anxiety you experience just thinking about sitting in your dentist' chair. .

Public financing can curb corruption
I applaud actor James Cromwell for speaking out against the Johns Hopkins University's pig lab ("Hopkins, put that pig down!" Jan. 23). As a physician, I know that there is no need for medical students to practice surgical skills on live animals. More and more surgeons-in-training are relying on non-animal methods to hone their skills, using state-of-the-art innovations such as box trainers, virtual reality simulators, life-like human patient simulators and even cadavers. These are the modern and sophisticated types of training people should come to expect from medical education in the 21st century. I graduated from medical school without ever participating in a live animal lab, and that has in no way affected my ability to take care of my human patients. Students at Johns Hopkins should be able to do the same thing.
It’s Time to Hold Democratic House Leaders in Contempt
That means that the whole system must fall to ashes before the Phe Phoenix of the American people will rise up to rebuild. Hopefully together in community with each other. So, as we wait for the collapse (coming soon), we have to just keep banging our heads on the wall of our congress critters and hope that we can win a few battles. And don't forget, we are the witnesses to this evil. And we will all be key elements in not making the same mistakes in the future. The sheeple won't remember. We will. And we will need each other. Thanks to all for being here. .
